Through Sund & Bælt, A/S Storebælt owns the Storebælt link and its road and rail sections. A/S Storebælt has responsibility for technical operations and maintenance of the road link as well as maintenance of the rail link.
A/S Storebælt owns four ferry ports north and south of the Storebælt link - Odden, Ebeltoft, Spodsbjerg and Taars.
The majority of Sund & Bælt's 137 employees are involved with the bridge across Storebælt. A further 200 people are employed by private contractors concerned with operational and maintenance tasks for the road and rail link.
